General Ashfaq
Parvez Kayani is the former Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army .He
was cheif of Army staff from November 29, 2007 to November 28, 2013 . He
replaced General Pervez Musharraf as the leader of the army on
November 29, 2007.
General Ishfaq Kiynai has served as Director General Inter Services
Intelligence. He has been awarded Hilal-i-Imtiaz and Hilal-i-Imtiaz
(Military) for his meritorious services.
On 24 July 2010, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani extended General
Ashfaq Parvez Kayani term as Chief of the Army Staff by three years,
