Nazeer Ahmed has been elected speaker of Gilgit Baltistan legislative Assembly on 7 June 2023, he was elected as Speaker of the Gilgit Baltistan Assembly un opposed. Nazir Ahmad has been taken oath on June 7 , 2023 which was administered by chairman Javaid Ali Manwa. He belongs from Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf PTI.
