Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai is the current speaker of Balochistan
Assembly Quetta . Achakzai has been elected speaker of Balochistan
Provincial Assembly On 29th February 2024, he was elected as Speaker of the Balochistan
Assembly unopposed. Abdul Khaliq Achakzai has been taken oath on October 30 ,
2021 which was Zamrak Khan Achakzai, who was appointed the presiding officer for the maiden session of the Balochistan provincial legislative.
He belongs from Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz PML-N. He is elected Member of the Punjab Provincial Assembly from PB-51 Chaman in general elections 2024.
Abdul Khaliq Achakzai started his political life as a Union Nazim in Chaman from 2000 to 2003, then served as District Nazim Chaman from 2004 to 2007. Elected to the Assembly and later announced to join the Muslim League (N) and served as Member of Swabai Assembly and Provincial Minister for Youth Affairs till 2013 and From 2018 to 2020, he was a special advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan.

He was born on abc 00, 1970, in Chamman Balochistan. He did his primary education in Chaman, matriculated from Hyderabad, graduated from PMA Kakul, Abbottabad, and joined the Pakistan Army. He served in the Pakistan Army from March 1987 to July 1998 and retired after attaining the rank of Captain.
